Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compliance-oriented Export Manager to lead international trade operations with a strong focus on regulatory documentation, country-specific compliance requirements, and complete EXIM governance, along with effective management of export logistics.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in managing regulatory export documentation for international markets (USFDA, EU, and other importing country requirements) in addition to overseeing customs clearance and shipment execution. This role is critical in ensuring that exports from India are fully compliant, properly documented, and executed without regulatory or customs risk.

International Regulatory & Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with export regulations under FSSAI (India), USFDA, EU norms, and other importing country regulatory frameworks.

Manage country-specific compliance documentation required prior to shipment.

Coordinate with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and consultants.

Ensure all statutory export documentation meets importing country requirements.

Stay updated on global regulatory changes affecting food/FMCG exports.

Maintain audit-ready compliance records.

Export Documentation & Trade Governance

Oversee complete EXIM documentation for all export shipments.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of export documentation to avoid shipment rejection or customs hold.

Manage documentation related to export incentives (RoDTEP, Duty Drawback, EPCG, etc.).

Coordinate LC documentation and export payment processes with banks.

Ensure compliance with DGFT, ICEGATE, and customs procedures.

Export Logistics & Execution

Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and customs authorities.

Plan and manage shipment schedules.

Oversee customs clearance and dispatch.

Optimize freight cost and improve operational efficiency.

Liaise with production and inventory teams for timely order fulfillment.

Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues.

Required Experience

1012 years of experience in export management.

Strong hands-on experience in international regulatory documentation.

Experience handling USFDA and EU export compliance documentation.

Deep understanding of DGFT, ICEGATE, and customs regulations.

Prior experience in FMCG / Food exports preferred.

Knowledge of export finance and LC handling.
