Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Export Manager to lead and expand our clinets international business across key global markets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing exports for a D2C or FMCG brand, with hands-on expertise in distributor management, regulatory compliance, and international market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. International Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new export markets (GCC, North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, etc.)
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new territories.
  • Appoint and manage distributors, channel partners, and international retailers.
  • Evaluate market entry models (distributors, marketplaces, cross-border e-commerce).

2. Distributor & Channel Management

  • Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, and margins.
  • Drive primary and secondary sales targets.
  • Monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, and sell-through.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts and trade partners.

3. Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with export documentation, labeling norms, and country-specific regulations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory consultants for product registrations.
  • Oversee logistics, freight forwarding, and shipment tracking.

4. P&L Ownership

  • Own export revenue targets and margins.
  • Monitor pricing strategy to maintain profitability.
  • Manage export budgets and forecasting.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with supply chain, finance, marketing, and product teams.
  • Coordinate demand planning to ensure seamless supply.
  • Align international marketing campaigns with local market needs.

Key Requirements

  • 610 years of experience in exports within D2C / FMCG / Consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of expanding into international markets.
  • Strong understanding of distributor management and global trade compliance.
  • Experience in GCC markets preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
