Primary Job Title: IB PYP Spanish Teacher (Primary) Expat role
Industry & Sector: International K12 education and teacher recruitment for international schools, delivering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) to diverse, multilingual learners. This is an on-site position based in Hyderabad, India for expatriate candidates supporting an international school environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-led Spanish lessons across primary PYP year levels that align with IB standards and school learning outcomes.
- Design transdisciplinary units of inquiry in collaboration with homeroom and specialist teams to integrate language learning with global contexts.
- Create and administer formative and summative assessments; analyse student data and adapt instruction to accelerate language acquisition for diverse learners, including EAL students.
- Differentiated instruction to support varying proficiency levels; design learning tasks, scaffolds, and extensions to meet individual needs.
- Maintain positive classroom culture and behaviour management routines; promote inclusive, learner-centred environments that support social-emotional development.
- Communicate progress and learning goals with parents and stakeholders; participate in reporting, parent conferences, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
