Role Overview:
Responsible for managing end-to-end tendering activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, ensuring timely submission, compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete tender lifecycle on the GeM portal (search, analysis, participation, submission, follow-up).
- Regularly monitor the GeM portal for relevant tenders and opportunities.
- Prepare and submit bids in compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, finance, technical) for documentation and pricing inputs.
- Ensure all documentation (technical & commercial) is accurate and submitted as per guidelines.
- Maintain a database of tenders, submissions, and outcomes for tracking and reporting.
- Manage vendor registration, product listing, and catalog updates on the GeM portal.
- Follow up with authorities for bid status, clarifications, and order finalization.
- Ensure compliance with government procurement policies and procedures.
- Handle post-order activities like order acceptance, invoicing coordination, and delivery tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working on GeM portal and government tenders is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of tender documentation and bidding process.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and documentation handling.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in tender management / government sales.
