Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and record daily accounting transactions accurately.
- Handle cash and bank transactions, including daily entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare job cards and maintain related records using Excel.
- Prepare and issue sales invoices/bills.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Manage inventory accounting, including stock records and valuation.
- Conduct physical verification of inventory and maintain stock records.
- Prepare delivery challans, billing reports, and maintain regular billing records.
- Prepare payroll, maintain attendance records, and ensure timely salary processing.
- Ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations, including return filings.
- Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Skills & Competencies
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, and ESIC compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software Tally
- Good numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
