Maruti Suzuki India Limited subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation to produce automobiles in India, has completed construction of the Plant C, and started production from April 2021.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited Gujarat plant was established in March 2014, aiming to secure production ability in preparation for the automobile market growth in India, as well as for expansion of exports from India. Plant A started operating in February 2017, and Plant B and Powertrain Plant in January 2019. In October 2020, MSIL GJ became the fastest production site of Suzuki to achieve accumulated automobile production of 1 million units.

About the Role

We are looking for the EV professionals to be a part of our team at Hansalpur plant.

Responsibilities

• Understanding EV component specifications and evaluation of EV components (Testing standards, CTQ parameters, Inspection by Electronic instruments)
• Auditing EV components vendor process and ensuring consistency thru statistical tools e.g. process capability
• Analysis and troubleshooting issues in EV by using appropriate tools such as Diagnostic tester, Oscilloscopes, BMS logic interpretation etc.
• Testing of EV components (Battery Pack, BMS, Motors, HV cables etc.)
• Preparing knowledge banks / SOR – process / Inspection standards for EV part
• APQP / PPAP approval
• Technical guidance to vendors along with project management and schedule monitoring
• Ensuring timely execution of development activities
• Planning for Zero defect production lines setup at Vendors
• Conducting PFMEA and timely implementation of required actions based on the same
• Advance Quality Planning for new parts development
• Analysis of part quality issues & countermeasure planning (FTA, 5 Why analysis, 8D method etc.)
• Identification of Technical and Systemic issues at vendor end & Prepare action plan for the same

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
