Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to manage BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) business development, pre-sales support, and client query handling. The role involves engaging with potential clients, understanding their certification needs, and converting inquiries into successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Generate and convert leads for BIS Certification (ISI Mark, CRS Registration, FMCS, etc.)
  • Handle inbound leads, inquiries, and RFQs efficiently

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across industries
  • Prepare proposals, commercial quotations, and close deals
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding

2. Pre-Sales & Technical Understanding

  • Understand client product categories and applicable BIS schemes
  • Provide initial consultation on certification requirements

3. MIS & Data Management

  • Prepare, Control & Report MIS

4. Key Requirements

  • Education: Graduate (Engineering preferred) / MBA (Marketing or Operations preferred)

Experience:

  • 2–3 years in BIS Certification / Regulatory Consulting / Technical Sales

Skills:

  • Strong communication & client handling skills
  • Understanding of BIS certification processes (ISI, CRS, FMCS)
