Role Summary

The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and supporting business development activities for Group 4 and Group 5 product portfolios. The role involves direct customer engagement, team coordination, and achieving sales targets across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and business development for Nano Photometers, AFM, Centrifuges, Shakers, and Probe Sonicators.
  • Manage and grow key accounts across Pharma, Biotech, Academia, Research, and Industrial segments.
  • Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Support product demonstrations, evaluations, and application discussions in coordination with application specialists.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and follow up for order closures.
  • Coordinate with service and application teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales pipeline, forecasting, and periodic reporting to management.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in sales of analytical/scientific instruments.
  • Exposure to spectroscopy, surface analysis, centrifugation, or sonication products is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
