As a
Finance Executive in our Procure to Pay team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your contributions will directly support timely vendor payments, smooth audits, and strong stakeholder relationshipshelping Danfoss maintain its reputation for operational excellence. By driving process improvements and reducing open items, you'll help us build a more agile and resilient finance function
What You'll Be Doing
In This Role, You Will
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in compliance with company policies.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
- Execute domestic and international payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor profiles and manage payment-related communications.
- Collaborate with banks and internal stakeholders to handle India-specific documentation and queries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and audits.
- Contribute to financial reporting and analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance P2P processes and reduce open items.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and legal regulations.
What We're Looking For
To Succeed In This Role, You'll Need
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable.
- Strong understanding of P2P processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
