Role Overview

The QC Manager is responsible for ingesting and checking the quality of all audio and video assets before release. This role ensures that every file meets technical standards, all specifications are delivered correctly, and all metadata is accurate.

Key Responsibilities

•Will also be responsible for ingesting content on various platforms

• Check audio formats, final masters and all stems for completeness and quality

• Review video files for any lag, sync issues, resolution problems or formatting errors

• Verify that all metadata is correct, including titles, credits and tags

• Ensure every asset meets platform-specific technical requirements

• Flag issues immediately and coordinate with the content and production teams for corrections

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong understanding of audio and video file formats

• Experience with QC processes for music or digital content

• Attention to detail and ability to catch technical errors

• Prior hands-on experience in managing metadata and asset ingestion across both audio and video streaming platforms

• Strong understanding of metadata style guides, including platform-specific standards for Apple Music and Spotify

• Familiarity with operational processes of major audio and video streaming platforms

• Proficiency in advanced Excel for data handling and reporting
