Job Description

Role Purpose

To design, develop, and govern enterprise dashboards and analytical models that enable data-driven decision-making while ensuring data integrity, audit traceability, and compliance with IT General Controls (ITGC) in a listed organization environment.

This role will serve as the custodian of reporting accuracy across ERP, CRM, HRMS, and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

1 Dashboard Development & KPI Framework

  • Develop executive dashboards using Power BI (or equivalent)
  • Design Engineering, sales, finance, HR, and operations dashboards
  • Define and document KPI definitions with stakeholders
  • Standardize reporting formats across departments
  • Automate recurring MIS reports at each level of the organisation.

2 Data Modelling & Integration

  • Extract structured data from ERP, CRM, HRMS systems
  • Develop data models and transformation logic
  • Maintain data mapping documentation
  • Ensure consistency across integrated systems
  • Validate data synchronization accuracy

3 Data Quality & Integrity Management

  • Implement data validation checks
  • Identify inconsistencies between systems
  • Perform periodic reconciliation with ERP financial data
  • Maintain data cleansing standards
  • Support master data consistency initiatives

4 Financial & Revenue Reporting Alignment

  • Ensure booking vs collection dashboards align with ERP financial records
  • Support ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) compliant reporting logic
  • Validate revenue-related KPIs against approved accounting standards
  • Work closely with Finance team for certified reports

5 Report Automation & Efficiency

  • Automate data refresh cycles
  • Schedule controlled distribution of reports
  • Reduce manual Excel-based reporting dependency
  • Improve reporting turnaround time

6 Collaboration with Enterprise Applications & Automation Teams

  • Work closely with ERP, CRM & HRMS Managers to ensure structured data capture
  • Partner with Business Process Analyst for KPI alignment
  • Enable analytics support for automation ROI tracking
  • Support digital transformation reporting needs

IT Governance, Compliance & Control Responsibilities

As part of a listed organization, this role must ensure:

  • Controlled access to dashboards and data models
  • Role-based access configuration for BI tools
  • Maintenance of data lineage documentation
  • Documentation of calculation logic for critical KPIs
  • Periodic validation of financial and revenue dashboards
  • Support internal and statutory audits with data extraction evidence
  • Ensure compliance with ITGC(IT General Controls) related to logical access and data integrity
  • Maintain version control of dashboards and reporting logic
  • Ensure data retention compliance

Required Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in BI / Data Analytics
  • Strong experience in Power BI / Tableau / similar tool
  • Experience working with ERP data (preferred)
  • Exposure to financial reporting dashboards preferred
  • Experience in regulated or listed environment preferred

Technical Skills

  • Power BI (or equivalent)
  • SQL / Data querying
  • Data modelling concepts
  • Understanding of ERP database structure
  • Excel advanced functions
  • Basic understanding of API-based integration (preferred)
