Amazon Delivery (AD) is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Director of Under the Roof Tech. This position requires a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as professionalism when dealing with senior professionals both inside and outside the company.

The successful candidate will need to have a keen attention to detail, a bias for action, strong organizational skills, and the ability to plan meticulously. They must also be able to communicate effectively and take swift, effective action while proactively solving complex problems with minimal guidance.

The role requires the ability to work successfully within a team environment, build effective working relationships, maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization, and become the go-to person for support activities.

Key job responsibilities
. Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements
. Provide seamless support to senior leaders using prioritization of business activities
. Coordinate travel
. Handle expense reporting
. Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on pending items
. Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering, and cyclical events like annual planning sessions and performance reviews)
. Work with other assistants throughout Amazon Delivery
. Serve as the single point of contact for team events and meetings
. Support and, at times, manage small to medium projects based on organizational needs and professional development interests

A day in the life
Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and career growth.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 5+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience working with large global teams
