Job Description

Design and execute ETL test cases to validate data integration processes and workflows.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data by performing SQL queries and validations.
Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
Write and execute Unix Shell scripts to automate testing processes.
Document test results and provide detailed defect reports where necessary.
Support performance testing and optimisation of ETL processes.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on data quality improvements.
Maintain test environments and ensure data security protocols are followed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ETL Tester should have:

Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.
Hands-on experience with Unix Shell scripting for automation tasks.
Knowledge of ETL tools and processes in the Technology & Telecoms industry.
A keen eye for detail and a focus on data accuracy and quality.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
