Job Description

Job Title: ETL Tester

Location: Chennai & Hyderabad

Work Mode

Hybrid

Work Timings

2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (IST)

Key Responsibilities

As an ETL Tester, you will:

QA Testing & Automation: Conduct comprehensive QA testing, including automation, for data solutions.
SQL Querying & Application: Apply strong SQL scripting knowledge, writing and executing queries for testing, and demonstrating in-depth understanding of SQL queries for QA testing.
Test Suite Management: Maintain existing regression suites and test scripts.
Agile Participation: Actively participate in Agile meetings, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily scrum meetings.
Reporting: Provide clear and concise test results to developers, project managers, stakeholders, and manual testers.
Business Needs Analysis: Examine business needs to determine appropriate testing techniques.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

SQL: Strong SQL Scripting knowledge and in-depth understanding of SQL queries for testing.
ETL Knowledge: Strong understanding of ETL Concepts.
Data Warehousing: Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts (DWH).
Python: Knowledge in Python.
Automation Testing: Experience with automation testing techniques.
Programming Languages (Desirable): Proficiency in relevant programming languages used by development teams (e.g., C#, Perl, Java, XML, CSS, HTML).
Testing Tools (Desirable): Experience with Selenium testers working with QTP or UFT.

Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a QA Tester with a focus on ETL.

Essential Professional Skills

Ability to examine business needs to determine testing techniques.
Ability to provide results effectively to various stakeholders.
