ETL Tester

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for data migration projects, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

* Create detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for validating data migration processes and transformations.

* Conduct thorough data validation and verification testing, leveraging advanced SQL skills to write and execute complex queries for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

* Utilize ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica PowerCenter, or DataStage to design and execute data integration tests, ensuring successful data transformation and loading into target systems like Snowflake.

* Validate semi-structured data formats (JSON, XML), ensuring proper parsing, mapping, and integration within data migration workflows.

* Lead testing efforts for data migration to cloud platforms, ensuring seamless data transfer and integrity.

* Act as the QA Lead to manage and coordinate testing activities with on-shore and off-shore teams, ensuring alignment, timely communication, and delivery of quality outcomes.

* Document and communicate test results, defects, and issues clearly to the development and project teams, ensuring timely resolutions.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain automated testing frameworks for ETL processes, improving testing efficiency and coverage.

* Monitor adherence to QA best practices and standards while driving process improvements.

* Stay updated on the latest QA tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance project outcomes
