The ESG Manager will lead the design, execution, and continuous enhancement of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy for the Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The role is pivotal in embedding sustainability principles into business operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving measurable ESG performance aligned with global standards and energy transition goals.
This position requires strong domain expertise in decarbonization, renewable energy ecosystems, and ESG frameworks, with a strategic focus on supporting large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and implementation of ESG strategy for the Green Hydrogen & Ammonia SBU.
- Integrate ESG considerations into project lifecycle and business operations.
- Oversee ESG data management, performance tracking, and reporting as per global frameworks (GRI, BRSR, TCFD).
- Ensure compliance with ESG regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Drive ESG risk assessment and mitigation across projects and operations.
- Manage stakeholder engagement including investors, regulators, and communities.
- Lead ESG audits, assurance processes, and supply chain sustainability assessments.
- Identify and implement initiatives to enhance ESG performance and sustainability outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Master's degree in Environmental science, Sustainability, Energy or a related field
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001 & 50001 standards and GRI framework standards preferred
- 10+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field
- Working understanding of ESG principles and frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
