Job Description:
. Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of engine test equipment and supporting facilities to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
. Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximise equipment uptime and support operational requirements.
. Troubleshoot equipment failures using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
. Work closely with Operations to ensure equipment readiness, minimise downtime, and support engine testing schedules while maintaining business continuity.
. Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, EHS, Quality, and external vendors to resolve technical issues and support equipment maintenance, upgrades, and improvement projects.
. Support the commissioning, installation, testing, and validation of new equipment, systems, and engineering modifications.
. Monitor equipment performance, analyse maintenance trends, and recommend reliability improvements to enhance equipment effectiveness.
. Develop, review, and update maintenance procedures, technical work instructions, engineering documentation, and equipment records.
. Support Management of Change (MOC), risk assessments, and equipment-related investigations to ensure safe implementation of engineering changes.
. Manage equipment spare parts, monitor obsolescence risks, and recommend inventory optimisation to support operational readiness.
. Ensure maintenance activities comply with company engineering standards, workplace safety requirements, environmental regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.
. Coordinate with contractors and equipment vendors to ensure maintenance and repair activities are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
. Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to technicians during troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment recovery activities.
. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational performance.
. Respond to urgent equipment issues outside normal working hours when operationally required to restore equipment availability and minimise operational impact.
Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in an MRO environment.
. Experience in maintenance operations, engineering support, troubleshooting, or technical services.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and equipment vendor teams.
. Demonstrated growth mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment, technologies, and processes.
. Proficient in using data analysis tools and methodologies to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
. Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
Salary: S$5,000 - S$7,000
