Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Environmental Engineer (EIA & Air Modeling Specialist) for an on-site role based in Bengaluru.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in preparing and managing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies, with a strong focus on air quality modeling and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and coordination of EIA/EMP reports as per MoEF&CC guidelines
• Conducting baseline data analysis and impact prediction studies
• Performing air dispersion modeling (AERMOD or equivalent tools)
• Preparing Air Quality Impact Assessment reports for various projects
• Ensuring environmental compliance with CPCB/SPCB norms
• Developing mitigation measures and Environmental Management Plans (EMP)
• Supporting public hearing documentation and regulatory submissions
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams on mining, infrastructure, and industrial projects
• Preparing technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (mandatory)
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in EIA preparation and Air Modeling (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of:
• EIA Notification 2006 and amendments
• Air quality standards (NAAQS, CPCB guidelines)
• Experience with air modeling software such as AERMOD, CALPUFF, or similar tools
• Understanding of baseline monitoring (air, water, noise) and data interpretation
• Knowledge of waste management and wastewater treatment systems
• Proficiency in Environmental Compliance and Consulting
• Familiarity with GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
