We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager EHS to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of our Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and objectives.
- Assist in training employees on EHS practices and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports on findings and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Stay updated on new EHS regulations and trends to ensure compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards in India.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety programs.
- Proficiency in using EHS management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
