Role Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, engaging, and converting enterprise and mid-market clients. This role requires a consultative approach to sales, where you understand customer challenges and position RoadCast as a strategic solution provider.

You will work across the sales lifecycle—from lead generation to deal closure—while collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting & Market Development
  • Identify and target potential clients across industries such as logistics, transportation, FMCG, e-commerce, and manufacturing
  • Research organizations to understand their operations, fleet size, and business challenges
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, and events
  • Support account-level strategies to penetrate new business opportunities
Consultative & Solution Selling
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, pain points, and business goals
  • Present RoadCast's platform and solutions aligned to customer requirements
  • Assist in delivering product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs
  • Position offerings around efficiency, cost optimization, and scalability
Client Relationship Management
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including operations teams, fleet managers, and mid-level decision-makers
  • Maintain regular follow-ups and engagement throughout the sales cycle
  • Ensure a smooth and positive customer experience during the buying journey
Deal Management & Closure
  • Support end-to-end sales cycle including proposals, pricing discussions, and negotiations
  • Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate pipeline updates and sales forecasts
  • Handle basic objections and coordinate with senior team members for closures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with pre-sales, product, and implementation teams
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to onboarding
  • Collaborate with marketing for lead generation campaigns and sales collateral
Performance Tracking & Market Insights
  • Use CRM tools to track leads, activities, and deal progress
  • Monitor sales performance and improve conversion rates
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS, logistics, or technology sales
  • Exposure to solution-based selling and client handling
  • Basic understanding of enterprise sales cycles and customer decision-making
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset with a consultative approach
  • Target-driven and self-motivated
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and demos
