Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for aSoftware Engineering Managerto lead highimpact teams building the next generation of AIpowered Test Automation solutions for Cloud and Desktop application. Responsibilities

• Lead teams in designing and delivering scalable cloud and desktop applications.

• Drive adoption of AI agents, LLMs, and automation frameworks into engineering workflows.

• Own business outcomes and ensure engineering excellence across projects.

• Recruit, mentor, and inspire highperforming engineers.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define vision, priorities, and delivery plans.

• Champion Agile practices, DevOps, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of software development experience 5+ years in leadership roles.

• Strong expertise inPython, JavaScript, TypeScript.

• Handson withAWS, One of the Automation framework - Playwright, Cypress, Pytest.

• Experience withCI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Analytical problem-solving, effective communication, and strong teamwork

• Self-motivated and proactive in driving quality improvements

• Able to work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes based on general objectives with minimal supervision.

• AI Technical Skills

• AI Agent Development (LangGraph or similar frameworks).

• LLM integration & prompt engineering (RAG patterns, context management).

• AIdriven test automation for UI/API testing.

• Python async/await architecture MCP or similar protocols.
