Our platform provides ultra-secure, high-throughput quantum randomness through a cloud API and in-premise appliances, enabling banks, fintech companies, payment systems, cybersecurity platforms, gaming providers, and critical infrastructure to strengthen encryption, authentication, and digital identity.
As we scale our platform globally, we are expanding our core team to take our QRNG technology from engineering to enterprise adoption.
Team Mission
Build and operate a hardware-rooted, cryptographically verifiable Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) platform, spanning embedded hardware, secure Linux systems, cryptographic services, and cloud-based verifiable randomness APIs.
About The Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of engineers building and scaling critical platform and product capabilities. You'll balance people leadership with technical depth, ensuring your team delivers reliably while growing in skill, ownership, and impact. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development.
- Drive high-quality, on-time delivery of product features and platform improvements.
- Own technical execution, system design, and architectural decisions for your team's domain.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute roadmaps.
- Build a strong culture of ownership, code quality, and operational excellence.
- Hire and onboard top engineering talent as the team scales.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and best practices to support rapid growth.
- Ensure teams take ownership from design through production, monitoring, and iteration.
- Ensure SaaS services meet performance, reliability, and scalability expectations
- Ensure customer-facing APIs are stable, secure, and well-documented
- Define and track engineering delivery metrics, sprint goals, and release milestones
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews for SaaS services
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to support ISO 27001 and customer security audits
- Drive architectural decisions for backend services with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security
- Ensure engineering best practices across code quality, design reviews, testing, and CI/CD
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
- Strong background in building and scaling production-grade SaaS platforms
- Hands-on backend development experience using Python and FastAPI
- Solid understanding of: Backend service architecture, Multi-tenant SaaS design, API lifecycle management and versioning
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar) and caching systems (Redis or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of software security best practices
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience leading teams through production releases
- Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver with high quality.
Desired/Preferred Skills
- Experience in high-growth startups or engineering-first organizations.
- Exposure to frontend or full-stack development.
- Experience working on developer platforms, SaaS products, or AI-driven systems.
- Prior ownership of highly available, customer-facing systems.
