Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in embedded systems testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, along with working knowledge of Python for test automation or scripting. This role requires hands-on experience in validating embedded software, debugging issues, and ensuring high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of embedded systems, including functional, integration, and system-level testing
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans based on requirements
- Use Python for writing test scripts, automation, or validation tools
- Analyze system requirements and identify test scenarios and edge cases
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in embedded environments
- Work with hardware interfaces and communication protocols
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and validate functionality
- Maintain test reports, defect logs, and documentation
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Embedded Manual Testing
- Hands-on knowledge of Python scripting (basic to intermediate level)
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture
- Experience with communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
- Knowledge of test methodologies and defect lifecycle
- Familiarity with debugging tools and embedded environments
- Experience with test case design and execution
- Good understanding of SDLC/STLC processes
