Email Marketing Manager Epic Professions (On-site, Bangalore)

Location: Work From Office Bangalore

Salary: 24 LPA (based on experience)

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Email Marketing Manager who's built and scaled email revenue for eCommerce brands. You'll manage our entire email ecosystem from flows and campaigns to deliverability, segmentation, and hygiene with a laser focus on performance and retention.

This is not a write pretty newsletters role. You'll build flows that convert Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase, Reactivation, Product Launch, etc. You'll know how to keep lists clean, boost open rates, and maintain healthy sender reputation across Klaviyo and similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and optimize automated email flows (welcome, browse abandonment, cart recovery, post-purchase, etc.)
  • Build and execute weekly campaign calendar for product drops, promos, and seasonal sales
  • Maintain list hygiene and manage segmentation for improved deliverability
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, creative, and CTAs to drive CTR and conversions
  • Monitor email performance metrics (open, click, conversion, unsubscribe, spam complaint)
  • Collaborate with the design team for visuals and copy alignment
  • Implement sunset policies, re-engagement campaigns, and opt-in optimization
  • Stay on top of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and email deliverability best practices

Requirements

  • 13 years of experience managing eCommerce email marketing (preferably D2C)
  • Strong command of Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar ESPs
  • Proven experience improving deliverability and engagement
  • Working knowledge of Shopify (bonus if you've handled Etsy or Amazon-linked email systems)
  • Analytical mindset can read numbers, not just write copy
  • Comfortable working on-site with a fast-moving startup team
