Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with electrical engineers and project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks) to create detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations in all drawings and documentation.
- Review and revise existing drawings based on engineering team feedback and project updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs and changes.
- Coordinate with other draftsmen, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Assist in preparing material lists and cost estimates for electrical components.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to electrical drafting.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree/ ITI or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Good knowledge/Proven experience as an Electrical Engineering or similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with electrical design software and tools is a plus.
