Electrical Control Panel Design

Design and develop electrical control panels, wiring layouts, and harness assemblies for industrial machines and equipment.

Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and terminal layouts using EPLAN Electric P8 or equivalent software.

Select and size electrical components such as relays, contactors, breakers, fuses, sensors, and cables.

PLC and Automation Systems

Perform PLC-based control system design, I/O mapping, and panel integration using platforms like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider.

Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of PLC programs and field wiring.

Support integration with SCADA/HMI systems where applicable.

Installation, Testing, and Commissioning

Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of control panel systems at customer sites.

Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in panels, wiring harnesses, and PLC-controlled systems.

Ensure proper grounding, protection, and compliance with electrical safety standards (IEC/IS/UL).

Documentation and Compliance

Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), cable schedules, and connection lists.

Maintain accurate documentation and revision control for all electrical drawings and PLC configurations.

Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and internal quality procedures.

Collaboration and Support

Work closely with mechanical, automation, and production teams to ensure overall system functionality and reliability.

Provide technical support during project execution and maintenance activities.

Apply analytical skills to optimize panel design and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
