Job Description
Position: Electrical Engineer
Department: Electrical / Facility Management / Purchase Coordination
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 3–5 Years
Reporting To: Purchase Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate electrical junction work, installation and maintenance activities.
- Handle CCTV camera installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and service coordination.
- Coordinate electrical poles, lighting poles and related infrastructure work.
- Coordinate with service vendors for installation, repair, maintenance and service activities.
- Prepare and follow up service contracts / AMC contracts for CCTV, electrical systems and other facility equipment.
- Verify vendor work completion, service reports, and invoices before payment processing.
- Coordinate with the Purchase/Accounts team for vendor payment follow-up and payment status.
- Maintain electrical and maintenance spare-stock records, including inward/outward and minimum stock levels.
- Monitor consumption of electrical materials, CCTV accessories, cables, IT products and other maintenance items.
- Prepare MIS reports, stock reports, and pending-work reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of POs, service orders, AMC agreements, invoices and vendor records.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and project work.
- Identify recurring maintenance issues and coordinate with vendors for corrective action.
- Support the Purchase Manager in vendor evaluation, quotation comparison and procurement-related activities.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and basic electrical systems.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, cameras, DVR/NVR, cabling and networking basics.
- Understanding of electrical poles, lighting systems, junction boxes and cables.
- Vendor management and service-contract/AMC coordination.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and basic MIS reporting.
- Basic understanding of Purchase Orders, invoices, quotations and payment processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and maintenance activities.
Education Qualification & Experience
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, facility maintenance, CCTV, vendor coordination, stock management and purchase/service coordination.
