Summary of the Position

Professionals with Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a relevant engineering experience 5 to 10 in the industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical and having good knowledge with experience in FEED and Detail Electrical Design within Power and Oil and Gas Projects. Knowledge in Hazardous area classification. Strong knowledge in SP3D, Smartsketch, MicroStation and AutoCAD. Experience in modelling electrical equipment in SP3D. Experience in lighting, grounding and cable tray design. Experience in substation designs. Experience in lighitng, grounding, cable tray and hazardous area classification layouts.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the Role

• Prepare Single line diagram with Engineer support
• Prepare Hazardous Area Classification with Engineer support
• Prepare Panel schedules (Power and Lighting)
• Prepare Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams with Engineer support
• Prepare Control Schematics with Engineer support
• Cable tray, Cable routing, Cable trench, Lighting, Grounding, Lightning. Design, modeling, supports, sizing, calculation and layouts
• Designing indoor and outdoor Substations
• Prepare Legend & symbols based on project/client specifications
• Prepare Typical Installation Details (Cable-tray & Trench, Grounding, Lighting and Power Layouts)
• Vendor Documents Reviewing and commenting related to layout engineering requirements.
• Preferred knowledge in International/Clients Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, NACE, ASME, ANSI, IP, API, ASTM, ISO, Shell DEP, Saudi Aramco
• Experience in Model Reviews

Technical Skills:

• Lighting Calculation: DIALUX, EVO
• 2D tools: AUTOCAD, MICROSTATION
• 3D tools: Mainly SP3D and Smartsketch
• Knowledge in PDS, PDMS, & E3D is also welcome
• 3D Model Review tools: SMART PLANT REVIEW, NAVISWORKS
• MICROSOFT OFFICE (Excel functions and macros) is welcome
