Are you in Join our Documentation Enablement & Infrastructure (DEI) team and you will be helping document complex, leading edge, automotive microcontroller products using state of the art documentation tools and practices, interacting with engineering teams world-wide. Our focus is digitalization and automation, pro-actively developing agile documentation solutions that meet the needs now and in the future.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Be responsible for documentation deliverables that meet the required documentation standards and processes
  • Contribute to the documentation content architecture to handle different product families, multiple product variants, and numerous document types
  • Pro-actively drive the workflow from information creation to external release at given milestones, working closely with SMEs
  • Convert and standardize documentation to the meet the company and business unit policies and best practice
  • Create graphics to the required standards
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of our documentation
  • Contribute solutions and ideas to improving the efficiency and accuracy of our documentation deliveries
  • Mentor junior members of the team
  • Support and train engineers as necessary to work with the company CCMS and contribute to the documentation flows

Actively participate in knowledge sharing and development of best practices with other team members

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • A degree in a related field such as computer science, technical communication, or electrical engineering
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Minimum 5+ years of relavent experience
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to learn quickly
  • A methodical approach and keen eye for detail
  • Recent and practical knowledge of DITA XML
  • A demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the concept of modular documentation
  • Recent and practical experience of a Component Content Management System (CCMS)
  • Recent experience and knowledge of a version control systems such as Git
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple sites
  • Flexibility to quickly respond to higher priority concerns
  • A willingness to continuously learn
  • Good to have:
    • XSLT knowledge (writing and running)
    • Writing regular expressions
    • Familiarity with JIRA
    • Coding skills, particularly python
    • Knowledge of Jenkins
    • Gitlab knowledge
    • AI/LLM experience and understanding
