Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned leader to head the Project Logistics vertical in India, with full ownership of business growth, strategy, and execution. This role is ideal for professionals currently working within freight forwarding organizations handling project cargo, ODC, and heavy lift movements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the Project Logistics / Project Cargo business across India
- Drive business development, client acquisition, and key account growth
- Manage end-to-end commercial processes – RFQs, tendering, pricing & negotiations
- Design and oversee execution of complex logistics solutions (ODC, heavy lift, multimodal)
- Build and manage relationships with carriers, chartering partners, transporters & vendors
- Ensure seamless project execution with strong focus on cost, safety & timelines
- Build and lead a high-performing team across regions
Candidate Profile
- 12–18+ years of experience in Project Logistics / Project Cargo within Freight Forwarding companies only
- Strong expertise in ODC / Heavy Lift / EPC logistics
- Proven track record in handling large and complex logistics projects
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in tendering, pricing & negotiations
- Prior experience in a leadership role (Head / Director / Regional Head level)
- Strong industry network and stakeholder management skills
