Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager SCM & Logistics (Renewable Energy - Wind)
Qualification:
Any Graduate / Diploma holder with specialization (PG preferred) in Logistics / Supply Chain
Experience:
7-13 years of relevant experience in SCM & Logistics, preferably in Renewable Energy (Wind)
Location: Mumbai, HO (With Travel to Sites)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Supply Chain & Logistics operations for renewable projects
- Handle import clearance, port coordination, and inland transportation of critical components such as Wind Turbines, Blades, Towers, Transformers, Modules, and related equipment
- Conduct route surveys and plan movement of over-dimensional consignments (ODC)
- Coordinate deployment of heavy lifting cranes and equipment for WTG erection activities
- Verify and finalize Bill of Lading (BL) drafts and ensure accurate documentation
- Manage LC documentation, liaise with finance, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure effective inventory management, packaging standards, and material tracking
- Drive coordination with site teams, vendors, transporters, and port authorities
- Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and project updates
- Monitor logistics data, ensure compliance, and optimize cost & timelines
- Travel to sites, vendor locations, and ports as per project requirements
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in SCM & logistics operations (renewable industry preferred)
- Knowledge of ODC logistics, route survey, and heavy equipment handling
- Proficiency in SAP (MM module)
- Strong understanding of LC processes and logistics documentation
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, reporting, and PowerPoint presentations
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments with adaptability
