Role details:

• Location: Chennai
• Work mode: On-site
• Salary: Up to 80 LPA
• Experience: 15 to 20 years

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of backend and frontend engineers
• Define and drive architecture for distributed systems, APIs, and modern web applications
• Promote a strong bias for action and ensure timely delivery of scalable solutions
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Core Engineering teams across time zones
• Elevate engineering standards across code quality, testing, observability, and DevOps
• Step in hands-on to resolve complex technical challenges when required

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar leadership role
• Strong technical foundation in C#/.NET, Python, cloud-native systems, or React/Next.js/TypeScript
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to align global teams
• Demonstrated success in mentoring and growing senior engineers
• Pragmatic, product-driven mindset with the ability to simplify and execute fast
