Job Description

About Us

At Prescience Insilico, we are at the forefront of in silico research and development, machine learning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for science and scientific software innovation. Our mission is to empower researchers and institutions with the tools they need to accelerate discoveries and breakthroughs in these fields. We collaborate closely with the pharma, materials, chemical, and energy industries to accelerate their R&D through AI/ML, computational modelling, and simulations.

Job Description

We're looking for a senior leader to drive scientific product evangelism, innovation outreach, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth across Prescience Insilico's flagship platforms—PRinS3®, our Materials platform & services, and the Prescience Aura Agentic AI Platform—along with our R&D services portfolio. This role blends scientific credibility with commercial leadership, owning the bridge between product story, market adoption, strategic alliances, and customer success across academia and industry.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Innovation Outreach, Business Development, Partnerships, and Pre‑Sales functions.
  • Define and execute a global outreach and growth plan aligned with Prescience's long‑term vision—covering platform adoption, services growth, and ecosystem influence.
  • Own the external positioning and adoption strategy for PRinS3®, the Materials platform & services, and the Aura Agentic AI Platform.
  • Deliver executive‑level product storytelling through high‑impact demos, workshops, seminars, webinars, and scientific presentations—clearly differentiating our platforms and services in the market.
  • Translate platform capabilities into business outcomes for customers—especially around workflow automation, AI/ML‑enabled discovery, and scalable compute readiness (cloud/HPC).
  • Generate and own high‑value opportunities with quarterly/annual targets (India, Europe, and priority global markets).
  • Lead CXO/VP‑level engagements across pharma, biotech, FMCG, chemicals, energy, and academic institutions—driving enterprise adoption, licensing/subscriptions, and services engagements.
  • Build and nurture long‑term strategic partnerships with universities, research institutes, innovation networks, industry leaders, and global collaborators.
  • Represent Prescience at global conferences, industry forums, academic events, and innovation programs as a senior ambassador and thought leader.
  • Provide expert‑level scientific consultation and solutioning for customers using computational modelling, AI/ML‑assisted discovery, screening/simulation workflows, and related scientific R&D needs.
  • Guide teams in creating credible, domain‑accurate solution narratives and proposals (platform + services).
  • Lead creation of high‑impact educational and thought‑leadership content: whitepapers, technical notes, case studies, tutorials, workshop materials, demo narratives, and field playbooks.
  • Mentor and enable internal teams (BD, pre‑sales, application scientists) to deliver consistent platform messaging and stronger customer conversations.
  • Work closely with product management, application scientists, and engineering teams to:
  • Capture customer feedback and objections with credibility
  • Influence roadmap priorities and market‑driven feature evolution
  • Validate new initiatives through structured field insights

Who Will Love This Job

  • A senior scientific leader who enjoys blending innovation, branding, business strategy, and outreach.
  • Someone who thrives in scientific storytelling—able to engage CXOs, professors, researchers, and R&D heads with clarity and conviction.
  • A partnership builder who enjoys developing global collaborations and scaling adoption across research ecosystems.
  • A hands‑on leader who can drive both vision and execution, mentoring teams and owning outcomes.
  • A professional who enjoys representing products at events and can confidently lead demos, workshops, and scientific dialogues.

What You Should Have

  • PhD / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related disciplines.
  • 8–12+ years of experience spanning scientific R&D, product evangelism, innovation outreach, partnerships, BD, or pre‑sales in deep‑tech/scientific domains.
  • Strong background in one or more: computational chemistry, chemical informatics, in‑silico modelling/simulations, AI/ML for science, materials modelling, and/or digital R&D services.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, build trust, and drive strategic agreements.
  • Strong record of scientific communication (teaching, workshops, talks, publications/whitepapers, community building).
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for conferences, partnerships, and strategic engagements.

Nice‑to‑Have (Strong Plus)

  • Experience scaling adoption of scientific software platforms (subscriptions/licensing) and/or building services pipelines.
  • Experience with academic‑industry partnerships, innovation networks, and global outreach programs.
  • Track record of thought leadership through public talks, technical writing, or community programs.
