Key Skills Required for this Role
Understanding of enterprise technology.
It is essential to understand how technology is used in the enterprise world to drive digital transformation. The candidate should be comfortable in using cloud-based technology platforms and translate user stories to actual features. Be able to hold your own in a conversation with customer, sales, engineering at all depths, from APIs to the User Interface.
Customer Advocacy
Ability to speak to Customers, Present roadmap, Present Concepts, capture feedback, analyze usage patterns and build features & processes leading to improve customer happiness, retention, and lifetime value.
Reporting and Analytics Knowhow
Drive the reporting and Analytics engine behind ALM to build highly scalable insights platform. Talk to customers and find out there needs, Work with Designers, Validate the concept and take both Out of box and Exportable reports charter forward.
APIs Expertise
Good understanding of APIs, Authentication, Asynchronous nature, Databases, Queues is a must. Own the public facing APIs charter. Define APIs for custom integrations catering to huge data, for building bespoke experiences and define their fair usage policies. Drive adoption and manage GTM by helping customers discover, define and build custom experience and integrations.
Scale and Reliability
Author user stories that cater to very large enterprises with millions of end users. Aspects of Scale, concurrency and reliability are front and central to a SAAS platform and as a Product manager, you should be able to take care of complexities in these aspects.
AI/ML Knowledge
Good understanding and hands on exposure to AI/ML. Ability to identify use cases that lend themselves to being re-imagined in the fast paced world of AI/Gen AI, narrow down to the right ML techniques, training sets, and test harness that would eventually result into a significant value for the end customer.
