Job Description

The Director – Food & Beverage, South Asia will be responsible for leading, strategizing, and overseeing all Food & Beverage operations across Radisson Hotel Group properties in South Asia.

This role is pivotal in driving commercial performance, brand positioning, concept innovation, and guest experience excellence, while ensuring strong alignment with global brand standards and regional market dynamics.

The position requires a well-rounded F&B leader with strong expertise across operations, culinary, commercial strategy, stakeholder management, and concept development, capable of influencing owners, partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & F&B Vision

  • Define and execute the regional F&B strategy in alignment with global brand vision.
  • Partner with Regional Leadership, and hotel Teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead the development and rollout of innovative dining concepts, including specialty restaurants and partnerships.
  • Evaluate and drive commercial viability of new outlets, concepts, and hotel openings.
  • Ensure alignment with global and emerging F&B trends, including fine dining, experiential dining, and evolving consumer preferences.

Operational Excellence & Brand Standards

  • Oversee end-to-end F&B operations across all properties and brands.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and service excellence.
  • Drive consistency in guest experience across all dining formats (restaurants, bars, banquets, IRD).
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Balance standardization with local market relevance.

Commercial Performance & Financial Management

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for F&B across the region.
  • Drive improvements in EBITDA, revenue mix, and cost efficiencies.
  • Monitor and optimize:
  • Food & beverage costs
  • Labour productivity
  • Outlet profitability
  • Approve key investments, contracts, and vendor partnerships.

Concept Development & Brand Positioning

  • Strengthen RHG's position as a preferred dining and social destination.
  • Drive the creation of bespoke, high-impact F&B concepts, including partnerships with reputed third-party operators.
  • Ensure a strong focus on fine dining, premium experiences, and signature concepts, beyond casual formats.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to enhance concept activation, storytelling, and digital presence.

Stakeholder & Owner Management

  • Act as a key interface with hotel owners, investors, and partners.
  • Influence and align stakeholders on F&B strategy, investments, and performance expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills to drive outcomes.

People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop:
  • Hotel F&B Heads
  • Executive Chefs
  • Build a robust leadership pipeline through training and succession planning.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence aligned with Yes I Can! philosophy.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Partner with procurement to ensure quality sourcing and cost efficiencies.
  • Negotiate and manage strategic vendor relationships.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising brand standards.

Professional Experience & Competencies

  • 18–20+ years of progressive experience in F&B within international/luxury hotel chains
  • Proven track record in: Multi-property / regional leadership roles , Concept development and rollout , Commercial and P&L management
  • Strong exposure to: Restaurants, bars, banquets, and IRD ,Fine dining and premium concepts , Market trend analysis and innovation
  • Strong regional/global perspective on trends (beyond local exposure)
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and owners independently
  • Capability to lead concept development, positioning, and execution end-to-end
