About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Director – Data Science (Pre-Sales) to lead end-to-end pre-sales engagements, drive solutioning, and enable business growth through advanced analytics and AI-led offerings. This role sits at the intersection of data science, consulting, and sales, requiring strong technical depth along with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pre-sales engagements from problem discovery to solution proposal
• Partner with sales teams to understand client requirements and translate them into scalable data science solutions
• Lead solution design, including approach, architecture, and value proposition
• Drive client presentations, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and technical discussions
• Build business cases demonstrating ROI and impact of AI/ML solutions
• Support and drive large deal pursuits and closures
• Provide thought leadership across ML, AI, and advanced analytics

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / Advanced Analytics
• Proven experience in pre-sales / solutioning / consulting roles
• Experience in analytics consulting / services environment (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of ML, statistical modeling, and AI solutions
• Strong knowledge of Python / R / SQL
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in analytics consulting / AI services firms
• Experience in RFPs, large deal pursuits, and enterprise solutioning
• Familiarity with MLOps and model deployment
