Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Investment Banking Professional to join our Industrials Sector team. The candidate will lead end-to-end deal execution, drive market research, manage client relationships, and support both buy-side and sell-side mandates. This role demands strong analytical skills, deep sector knowledge, and the ability to manage complex transactions independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead industry research, market mapping, and preparation of mandate pitches within the Industrials sector.
• Focus on core industrial product companies (primarily Indian) with minimal emphasis on services or e-commerce.
• Stay updated with the latest product trends, technologies, and developments in the industrials space.
• Participate actively across all stages of deal-making — from client acquisition to transaction closure.
• Manage client interactions, meetings, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and closure documentation.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and creating strategic client relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Investment Banking with a focus on the Industrials sector.
• MBA from a premier institute or Chartered Accountant (First Attempt); CFA certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead deals and work effectively under pressure.
• Growth-oriented mindset with the aspiration to lead and expand the function over time.
