Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Identify and pursue new customer leads through field visits, references, and self-sourcing.
  • Pitch products directly to prospective customers and close high-quality sales.
  • Conduct customer meetings, demos, or consultations to explain product features and benefits.

Sales Target Achievement

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly individual sales targets.
  • Monitor pipeline activity and ensure smooth closure of prospects.
  • Report daily sales activity and progress against targets to management.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and post-sale service coordination.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales, and follow-ups.
  • Use CRM tools to track sales activities and customer data.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on competitor offerings, market trends, and product developments.
  • Provide customer and market feedback to the product and marketing teams.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong selling, persuasion, and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred for higher roles)
  • 26 years of direct sales experience (preferably in BFSI, telecom, FMCG, or tech)
  • Field sales experience and local market knowledge are strong advantages
