Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET) – CNC Machining

Role Overview
As a Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET), you will undergo structured training in CNC machining operations, part programming, production planning, and quality systems. This role is designed to build strong technical skills and prepare you for a career in precision manufacturing at Milacron.
- Learn CNC machines, part programming & operating CNC machines
- Planning for delivery of machined parts as per schedule.
- Learn Calibration of instruments & Gauges
- Learn to load CNC machines according to production schedule
- Learn Cycle time calculations of CNC machining.
- Implement Level 1 kaizens through the innovative ideas.
- Manpower handling.
- Tool requisitions, basics of tool setting in CNC machining.
- 7QC tools, root cause analysis, Tool breakage reports.
- On time delivery of parts to assembly.
- Ensure 5s & sustenance of current level.
- Log nonconformities.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
- Strong interest in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle manpower effectively.
- Knowledge of quality tools (7QC, RCA) preferred.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
