Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (functional, regression, integration)
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Playwright
  • Perform manual and API testing (REST, Postman) across web apps and backend services
  • Monitor and support RPA workflows interacting with insurance portals
  • Troubleshoot automation failures including UI changes, authentication issues, and data mismatches
  • Conduct root cause analysis using logs, traces, and browser debugging tools
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs for incident resolution and system reliability
  • Validate data accuracy across eligibility, authorization, and claims workflows
  • Improve test reliability by identifying and resolving flaky tests and unstable scripts
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support release readiness and production stability

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in QA engineering (manual + automation testing)
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Playwright for test automation
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (REST APIs, Postman)
  • Familiarity with RPA systems or browser-based automation workflows
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience with RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • Deep experience testing browser automation and scraping systems
  • Familiarity with Playwright tracing, network debugging, and test optimization
  • Experience with test management tools (Jira, Xray, AIO)
  • Exposure to healthcare workflows (eligibility, prior auth, claims)
  • Experience working in a startup or high-ownership environment
