About The Role:

At Parallel, our Project Managers are the quiet force behind our most ambitious work, bringing clarity, momentum, and structure to fast-moving teams. You will think in systems, anticipate roadblocks before they surface, and bring a calm, solutions-first mindset to every challenge. Whether navigating shifting priorities or aligning cross-functional teams, you keep the big picture in focus without losing track of the details that matter.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and clients.
  • Take ownership of the project plan, which includes schedules, communications, risk assessment, and deliverables.
  • Provide support to team members by eliminating obstacles to their work and identifying ways to enhance efficiency.
  • Drive decision-making regarding the project's scope.
  • Manage project finances, timelines, resources, and priorities.
  • Identify, address, communicate, and escalate both project risks and opportunities, particularly those related to product design and development.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to define the product's scope, roadmap, and key milestones, ensuring alignment with our budget and resource plan.
  • Take charge of scope prioritization and communicate delivery expectations to the client.
  • Review work progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure it aligns with our quality standards and project objectives.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in consulting or agency environments, with a demonstrated ability to manage the high-velocity demands of client-service models.
  • 5+ years of experience managing both web and native mobile products
  • Expertise in project management architecture, with the ability to architect and manage complex Jira boards, build out granular backlogs, and utilize platforms like Smartsheet or MS Project to visualize timelines and manage resource allocation.
  • Proven track record of orchestrating cross-functional teams encompassing design and engineering. You possess the technical literacy to facilitate sprint grooming and the strategic mindset to align with research and content/copywriting teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a keen understanding of the nuances involved in working with startups as well as large enterprise clients.
  • Enthusiastic leadership style that commands respect, inspires people, and maintains accountability through clear documentation and process management.
  • Extensive experience dealing with major enterprise clients, successfully navigating complex organizations by implementing formal RACI models and governance structures.
  • Deep expertise in developing and executing communication plans, stakeholder mapping, and risk-mitigation strategies for large client teams.
  • Skilled in driving consensus among substantial stakeholder groups, ensuring project momentum through data-driven reporting and transparent progress tracking.
  • A knack for swiftly establishing trust and rapport with both team members and clients, serving as the bridge between high-level vision and tactical execution.
  • Unmatched ability to gauge the atmosphere of a meeting, whether in person or via virtual platforms, and the agility to pivot tactics to ensure productive outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a meticulous attention to detail that ensures no task, deadline, or resource constraint is overlooked
