The Role
You'll be our first marketing hire, owning the entire digital marketing function. You'll report directly to the CEO and be responsible for getting time.money in front of investors who want to take control of their financial future. You'll work closely with our designer (who handles creative) and the product team to drive distribution and build channels that grow over time.
What You'll Do
Own all digital marketing channels — SEO, paid ads (Google, Meta, LinkedIn), organic social, email, WhatsApp, influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing, and community building.
Run paid campaigns that convert — Set up, manage, and optimise campaigns including multi-lingual campaigns for different regions. Track CAC, ROAS, and conversion rates. Kill what doesn't work. Scale what does.
Manage our social media presence — Own how we show up across platforms. Keep it consistent, engaging, and human. Every post should feel intentional—not like it was scheduled by an algorithm.
Drive distribution — Our designer handles creative. Your job is content strategy, copywriting, and getting the right content in front of the right people through the right channels.
Build organic growth engines — SEO that brings in users searching for investment advice. Social content that builds trust. Email sequences that nurture leads into users.
Create investor education content — We believe behaviour beats stock picks. You'll translate that into blogs, social posts, and newsletters that educate investors and position time.money as the trusted guide.
Set up marketing automation — Email sequences, drip campaigns, WhatsApp flows. Build systems that run while you focus on the next thing.
Understand your audience deeply — Learn the target audience by ICP, by region, by local dynamics. What resonates in one city may fall flat in another. You'll figure out what works where and adapt.
Experiment with partnerships — Influencer collaborations, affiliate programs, community building. Test, measure, and double down on what works.
Track what matters — Set up dashboards, monitor metrics, report on results. You should be comfortable with basic analytics—enough to know when something's working and when it's not.
Learn SEBI advertising guidelines — Investment advisory marketing has rules. You'll learn them and figure out how to be compelling within the constraints.
What We're Looking For
2-4 years in digital marketing — With hands-on experience running campaigns. You've owned channels and been accountable for results.
Fintech or wealthtech experience is mandatory — You've marketed financial products to Indian consumers. You understand why trust matters and why compliance isn't optional.
Hands-on with Google, Meta, and LinkedIn Ads — You've set up campaigns, managed budgets, and optimised for conversions.
Strong copywriting skills — Clear, simple, jargon-free, gimmick-free. If it sounds like marketing fluff, rewrite it.
Comfortable with marketing tools — Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, email platforms. You'll adopt new tools as we grow.
Basic analytics fluency — You can read dashboards, understand funnel metrics, and make decisions based on data.
Self-directed — You're the first marketing hire. No playbook. You'll prioritise, experiment, and figure things out.
Understands Indian investors — You know how they think about money, what concerns them, what motivates them.
Nice to Have
* Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
* WhatsApp Business API or marketing automation experience
* Multi-lingual campaign experience (Hindi, regional languages)
* Influencer or affiliate marketing campaign experience
* Community building or managing user groups
* Basic understanding of SEBI advertising regulations
* Personal interest in investing and behavioural finance
