Role overview
We're looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist who can plan, execute, optimise, and report on multi-channel initiatives. You'll own day-to-day delivery across organic growth (SEO + AEO + GEO), content performance, social execution, and analytics-driven improvements. This role is remote, but highly collaborative.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute digital marketing programmes aligned to client goals (awareness, consideration, lead generation).
- Own SEO delivery: keyword research, content briefs, on-page optimisation, internal linking, technical hygiene coordination, and performance tracking.
- Drive AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation): FAQ-led content improvements, structured content formatting, schema recommendations, snippet/answer targeting, and trust signals.
- Support GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation): entity-led optimisation, topical authority building, and content reinforcement for AI-driven discovery.
- Manage social media execution (primarily LinkedIn-focused for B2B): content calendars, post optimisation, performance insights, and iteration.
- Track and improve performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and reporting dashboards (Looker Studio or equivalent).
- Work with CRM/marketing automation teams to improve lead capture and attribution (UTMs, form tracking, conversion events, pipeline visibility).
- Create weekly/monthly performance summaries: what moved, what didn't, why, and what we'll do next.
- Coordinate with design/content teams to ship assets fast, with quality and consistency.
What success looks like (examples)
- Improved qualified organic traffic and non-branded visibility for priority pages.
- Better conversion rates from key landing pages through iteration and analytics.
- Clear reporting that ties activity to outcomes (leads, MQLs, meetings, pipeline contribution where available).
- Consistent execution cadence without constant supervision.
Must-have qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing (B2B exposure preferred).
- Strong fundamentals in SEO and content-led growth (technical awareness is a plus).
- Working knowledge of AEO and interest in GEO (hands-on exposure is ideal, but not mandatory if you learn fast).
- Confidence using GA4, Google Search Console, and spreadsheets for analysis and decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a remote setup.
- Strong written and verbal communication (you can explain performance clearly to non-technical stakeholders).
Nice-to-have
- Experience with demand generation funnels and lifecycle marketing.
- Exposure to HubSpot, Zoho, WordPress/Webflow, Looker Studio, SEMrush/Ahrefs, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting paid search (SEM/Google Ads) is a plus, not mandatory.
Work setup
- Full-time, remote.
- Collaboration hours aligned largely to IST (client calls may require flexibility).
