Digital Marketing Specialist to strengthen our online presence, generate quality student leads, and enhance institutional brand visibility.
Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns that support student admissions, brand awareness, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires expertise in digital advertising, social media marketing, content creation, SEO, lead generation, and analytics within the education sector.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of student recruitment strategies, admission cycles, digital marketing platforms, and emerging trends in higher education marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive student inquiries and admissions.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize for lead quality, conversions, and ROI.
- Support seasonal admission campaigns and promotional initiatives for all academic programs.
- Lead Generation & Student Recruitment
- Generate quality leads through digital channels and ensure effective lead nurturing strategies.
- Create and optimize landing pages, lead forms, and conversion funnels.
- Work closely with the Admissions Team to improve lead-to-enrollment conversion rates.
- Track admission campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights.
- Social Media & Content Marketing
- Manage and grow AIMS Institutes social media presence across various platforms.
- Create engaging content including posts, reels, videos, blogs, testimonials, success stories, and event promotions.
- Develop monthly content calendars aligned with institutional objectives.
- Enhance student, alumni, and faculty engagement through digital storytelling.
- Website Management & SEO
- Maintain and regularly update the institutional website.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization.
- Ensure website content remains current, engaging, and conversion-focused.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor digital marketing KPIs using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite, and other reporting tools.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Analyze user behavior, traffic trends, lead sources, and campaign effectiveness.
- Recommend data-driven improvements for digital initiatives.
- Email, WhatsApp & CRM Marketing
- Execute targeted email marketing and WhatsApp communication campaigns.
- Support automation workflows for inquiry management, admission reminders, webinars, and events.
- Maintain lead databases and ensure CRM data accuracy.
- Coordinate with admissions counselors for effective lead follow-up.
- Online Reputation & Brand Management
- Monitor institutional presence across Google Reviews, education portals, and social media platforms.
- Respond to online inquiries, reviews, and engagement opportunities professionally.
- Promote institutional achievements, rankings, placements, events, and academic accomplishments.
- Support branding initiatives that enhance institutional credibility and visibility.

Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Digital Marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and marketing automation tools.
Preferred
- Master's Degree / MBA in Marketing.
- Experience in the Education, EdTech, Higher Education, or Training Industry.
