From intimate traditional ceremonies to extravagant destination weddings, every celebration is approached as a unique story worth preserving.

As we continue expanding across India and the USA, we're building a strong digital presence that reflects our premium brand and reaches couples wherever they search on Google, YouTube, social media, and AI-powered search platforms.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our complete digital marketing strategy and drive measurable business growth. This is a full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing multi-channel digital marketing initiatives across paid advertising, organic search, local search, social media, AI-powered search platforms, and content marketing. The role includes managing SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profiles, Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, email marketing, and website performance to maximize online visibility, generate qualified leads, and increase conversions.

You will also be responsible for strengthening What A Story's presence across multiple locations in India and the USA by developing effective Local SEO strategies, improving Google Maps rankings, optimizing Google Business Profiles, managing citations, location-specific landing pages, reviews, and ensuring consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) information across all platforms.

Additionally, you will work closely with the creative, content, sales, and web development teams to ensure consistent brand messaging while implementing data-driven marketing strategies that position What A Story as a market leader across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing with proven success in lead generation and performance marketing.
  • Strong expertise in Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads, including Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube, and remarketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience in Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Local SEO, and Multi-location SEO.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles (Google Maps), local citations, reviews, local keyword rankings, and location-based landing pages.
  • Strong understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to improve visibility across AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, and Google's AI Overviews.
  • Experience managing and growing YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms through both organic and paid strategies.
  • Expertise in content marketing, email marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and customer journey optimization.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Meta Business Suite, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Experience conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink building, website optimization, conversion tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the luxury, wedding, hospitality, creative, or lifestyle industry is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
