Job Overview
Twixor is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer for its Chennai location. This is a full-time position in the IT Services and Consulting industry. The successful candidate will support and enhance infrastructure automation, deployment, and process optimization initiatives, contributing to high-impact projects for our enterprise clients.
Qualifications And Skills
- Hands-on experience working with Docker (Mandatory skill), managing containers and optimizing build and deployment lifecycles.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (Mandatory skill), including creating, maintaining, and scaling clusters in production environments.
- Solid foundation in Shell Scripting (Mandatory skill), automating tasks and improving DevOps efficiency.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, including command line expertise, troubleshooting, and system administrative tasks.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, automating resource provisioning and management across cloud services.
- Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with AWS, particularly deploying, maintaining, and monitoring cloud infrastructure for scalable applications.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps Server for managing build and release pipelines, artifacts, and integrations in a hybrid environment.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes technologies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure using Terraform.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability by proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with software development and QA teams to enable seamless integration, deployment, and rollback processes.
- Write, review, and maintain robust shell scripts to automate routine operations, deploy updates, and reduce manual intervention.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters for resource optimization, scaling, and secured container orchestration.
- Contribute to documentation for DevOps processes, deployment guidelines, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing.
- Continuously evaluate emerging tools and technologies to enhance existing DevOps practices and workflows.
