DevOps Engineer

• So as a DevOps engineer, be a generalist that has skills spanning across development and operations, including infrastructure management, system administration, automation, release management, coding and DevOps tools
• He/she should also possess interpersonal skills to work with siloed teams and create a more collaborative environment
• The candidate should proactively participate in discussions, identify issues and provide solutions
• He/she should be a team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment and the ability to lead from concept to implementation

Talent we'require-

Amazon Web Services (At least 5 years):

1. Involve in design and maintenance of development and production environments with the goal of high availability and scalability, being prudent on costs.

2. Solid experience with AWS components like EC2, VPC, S3, Load Balancers, IAM, Cognito, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Systems Manager.

3. Deploy and maintain AWS database services like RDS, MongoDB Atlas and Kafka.

4. Have good, hands-on knowledge on Kafka. Ability to debug and optimize performance of applications using Kafka.

5. Hands-on experience on deploying and maintaining AWS Lambda is a plus. Experience should include automated deployment of serverless applications.

Continuous Delivery:

1. Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments.

2. Working knowledge of build processes and tools such as Maven..

Linux:

1. Setup, configuration, general maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux systems.

2. Recommend best practices approach for OS/Kernel config, security policies, and performance.

3. Systems Management Automation using Python, Bash.

Containers:

1. Good understanding of virtualization concepts and docker.

2. Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and/or EKS or Kubernetes.

3. Auto-Scaling of EC2 instances and Dockers, custom solutions based on need.

Monitoring and Automation:

1. Identify and automate monitoring of important metrics using Python or Go that reflect the state of the environment.

2. Automate AWS and other tasks using CloudFormation or Terraform that can ensure standardized way of deploying services.
