We are seeking a highly skilled
DevOps Automation Engineer with strong expertise in
automation pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Oracle database environments. This role sits within the Technology Engineering team and focuses on building scalable, reliable, and efficient automation solutions across technology and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (IaaS)
- Develop and manage automation scripts using Groovy, Ansible, and other scripting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems and pipelines
- Integrate and manage automation workflows across cloud and on-prem environments
- Support and optimize Oracle database environments (preferred)
- Maintain code quality through best-practice coding standards and version control
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize deployment processes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives
- Manage tasks and workflows using tools like JIRA (user stories, boards, tracking)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
- Ansible (configuration management)
- Git (version control)
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Groovy scripting
- Solid understanding of Cloud DevOps & IaaS architecture
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred Skills
- Experience working as or with an Oracle DBA
- Knowledge of database automation and performance tuning
- Exposure to enterprise-level banking or financial systems
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in DevOps / Automation Engineering
