Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, printers, and other peripherals
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software as per organizational standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operating system issues (Windows, macOS) and application problems
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory
  • Assist users with network connectivity, VPN, email, and security-related issues
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patch management
  • Document support requests, solutions, and maintain knowledge base articles
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-tier support teams or vendors as necessary
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on hardware and software usage
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and coordinate with procurement for replacements or upgrades

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop or end-user support
  • Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications
  • Experience with Active Directory and user account management
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Experience supporting macOS or Linux systems
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Familiarity with endpoint security and antivirus tools
