Job Description
Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Duration: 6 - 12 Months (Contract)
Work Mode: On-site
Work Timing: Rotational Shift
Working Days: 6 days working
Salary- 3 - 3.3 LPA
Location: Bangalore and Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnosing, fixing, and testing hardware, software, and peripheral issues (printers, scanners, phones).
- System Setup & Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and upgrading software and hardware for new and existing users
- User Support: Providing prompt, professional technical support via telephone, email, or in-person.
- Ticketing & Documentation: Managing support requests via IT service desk systems, documenting issues, and maintaining inventory.
- Networking: Monitoring network connections to ensure stability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Windows/Linux/Mac OS, networking principles, and remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., TeamViewer).
- Experience: Previous experience in a technical support or help desk role is typically required.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Education: A bachelor's or associate degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
